The 2026 Fauntleroy Fall Festival will bring vibrant neighborhood traditions, craft stations, and live entertainment to West Seattle on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Held across the shared campus grounds of the Fauntleroy Schoolhouse, Fauntleroy Church, and YMCA along California Ave SW (located at 9131-9140 California Ave SW), the event offers free admission for visitors of all ages. The annual autumn celebration is organized and funded completely by local volunteers and community donations.

This year's festival includes a slight layout adjustment across the campus grounds. Organizers shifted several vendor stations, activity tables, and interactive zones due to emergency culvert repairs on Fauntleroy Creek under California Ave SW. Despite the location shifts across the church, schoolhouse, and YMCA grounds, the event will run rain or shine in both indoor and outdoor spaces.

A wide array of hands-on activities, contests, and community booths are planned for families. Highlights include birdhouse building, pumpkin painting, pumpkin bowling, a bunny petting zoo, and an instrument petting zoo with a sensory area for children ages 2 to 5. Young festivalgoers ages 2 to 8 can make salmon hats with the Fauntleroy Watershed Council, while older children ages 8 and up can enjoy a rock climbing wall and an inflatable slide. Guests can also tour a Seattle Fire Department fire truck, take photos at a selfie wall, meet local writers at a community author table, and stop by booths for the White Center Food Bank, Seal Sitters, and Duwamish / Real Rent Is Due.

Traditional food events and sweet treats will also return. Free cider and cookies will be served to attendees throughout the afternoon. Festivalgoers can take part in the Annual Cake Contest and Cake Trot, with judging starting at 2:00 PM and the winner announced at 3:30 PM. Competitive eaters can join the pie-eating contest scheduled from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Festival Event and Performance Schedule

Visitors planning to attend are encouraged to consider public transit or carpooling. King County Metro's RapidRide C Line drops off directly along California Ave SW. Because street parking immediately adjacent to the schoolhouse and church is very limited, arriving early is recommended.
