After a three year hiatus, people in West Seattle and across the area  are invited to be part of Holy Rosary West Seattle's “Carnival of Community” weekend in September.

Admission is free.

The mural of one time West Seattle resident and lead singer of Soundgarden, Chris Cornell  that graced the southern wall of Easy Street Records was defaced by unknown persons on Sunday Sept. 4. 

How much do you love West Seattle?  It's the kind of community that fosters a lot of warm feelings and at last there's an event to celebrate that attitude.

By the time the West Seattle Bridge finally reopens on Sept. 18, it will have been 909 days of no access.

A first for White Center, the Defy Summer Bash presented by Lariat Bar as part of White Center Block Party is set to happen from 1pm-3:30 & 4:30-6pm

Update 8-19-22

The famous and much loved Paws and Paint event has now been re-scheduled for Aug. 28 from 2pm to 6pm at the Beveridge Place Pub.

The West Seattle Nursery Summer Garden Festival is a series of events including an open house, in person classes, and a unique sale all starting Aug. 15.

The West Seattle Chamber of Commerce annual Cruise for Commerce on Aug. 11 had more than 50 local businesspeople come aboard the Husky Deli owner's boat the Baltic Sea for a trip around Puget Sound.
