The North Highline Unincorporated Area Council (NHUAC) invites the community to an informative meeting on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 7 pm at the North Highline Fire Station located at 1243 SW 112th Street in White Center.

Jennifer Satterwhite, SPD SW Precinct Crime Prevention Coordinator reports that the local Drug Take Back Day netted "more than 69 pounds" of unused or unwanted drugs in the event.

The Beach Drive Blog reported that a truck impacted a power pole on Beach Drive SW. and that power for nearly 60 homes was knocked out.
