The school strike in Seattle is over. An agreeement was reached between Seattle Public Schools and the Seattle Education Association representing teachers and school will start officially Sept. 14.

The Seattle Department of Transportation conducted some load testing on the West Seattle Bridge today ahead of the scheduled re-opening of the bridge Sunday morning Sept. 18.

The strike by Local 174 representing the concrete truck drivers is over. The strike that held up the completion of dozens of projects in the Greater Seattle area last spring actually began more than a year ago in December of 2021.
