For the thousands of residents behind on rent in King County, Sept. 30 is a date baked in uncertainty.

The Port of Seattle, has "removed from consideration" the construction of a 1500 space parking lot that would have been built in North SeaTac Park.

The Taradise Cafe in White Center will not reopen. Owned by Tara Eckman Scott since 2015, whose untimely death in July came as a shock to the entire White Center community, the cafe had seen some flooding in the basement two weeks prior.
