White Center Music Venue Hit by Burglars, Thousands Stolen

White Center music venue, Tim's Tavern is reeling after thieves made off with thousands of dollars in a lightning-fast burglary early Monday morning.

At 1:56pm, officers responded to a bank robbery at the US Bank in the 4200 SW Edmunds St.

1931 Seattle City Light customers were without power as of 10:42 AM on Monday Jan. 13. No cause was announced though restoration was expected later in the day.

Seattle Police responded to a report of a shooting at 7/11 at 35th SW and SW Barton Street around 1:25 pm on Friday. No one has yet been reported hurt.

The White Center Food Bank is inviting the community to its Open House and Early Lunar New Year Celebration on Thursday, January 16th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The event will be held at the White Center Food Bank, located at 10016 16th Ave SW.
