Christmas Ships will sail near West Seattle bringing holiday cheer

The Argosy Cruises Christmas ships will return for 2018 with multiple opportunities to see them, enjoy a bonfire, some warm beverages and lots of seasonal cheer.

South Seattle College (Georgetown Campus) to host “Seattle Stand Down” Dec. 13-14 in support of homeless and At-risk veterans

South Seattle College’s Georgetown Campus will host the eighth annual Seattle Stand Down on Dec. 13-14, where homeless and at-risk veterans and their families will be offered free access to a wide array of resources and services. The event is put on by The Seattle Stand Down, a volunteer team of veterans dedicated to supporting veterans experiencing homelessness.

FREE Bingo Event for Senior Citizens Dec. 14

The White Center Teen Program is hosting a FREE Bingo Event for Senior Citizens on Friday, December 14th from 1-3pm at the Historic White Center Fieldhouse (also known as the White Center Community Center), in Steve Cox Memorial Park (1321 SW 102nd 98146.)

Doors open at 1 p.m. and games (two cards at a time) are FREE. Coffee, snacks and prizes are also provided at no charge.  Teen volunteers will be on hand to assist with calling the Bingo Games.  All White Center Senior Citizens are invited to attend.
