You are invited to a virtual dialogue with Seattle Police on August 10 to address shifting public safety priorities
Community members and Seattle Police Department (SPD) personnel will gather virtually on Monday, August 10, 2026, for a high-level dialogue centered on the city’s evolving safety needs. The session, scheduled from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM via Zoom, provides a platform for residents to discuss the results of the newly released 2025 Seattle Public Safety Survey and share current concerns directly with law enforcement.

While the August 10 meeting will specifically focus on the Southwest Precinct, all individuals who live or work in Seattle are encouraged to attend. These sessions differ from "Before the Badge" dialogues by including a much broader spectrum of SPD personnel, ranging from recruits and officers to command staff, crime prevention coordinators, and administrative professionals.
