An officer responded to a burglary in which the only items stolen were five guitars. One of the victims said that he returned home at 4:00 in the afternoon on the 2nd to find both the front and back doors of the residence open. He said that he believed the doors had been locked when he left, but that there were four roommates living in the house and the door was sometimes left unlocked.
A basement bedroom had been ransacked, but the victim who reported the burglary said that his room appeared to be undisturbed. The only items that he knew to be missing were five guitars that had been hanging on the wall in the stairwell. Two of the guitars were regular electric guitars, two were electric bass guitars, and one was an electric mandolin. Three ukuleles hanging on the same wall were not taken.
