Throng assaults fence and female victim
On June 24 Seattle Police officers responded to an assault at a residence located at the 8300 block of Loyal Way Northwest. The victims' home is directly behind a metro bus stop. They told officers that they were trying to sleep when they heard a group making loud noises from the bus stop. The male victim went outside and asked the group to be quiet. The group became agitated and started kicking the fence in front of the house. The victim went inside to get a baseball bat. Meanwhile the female victim began spraying the group with a hose. The male victim emerged from the house with a bat and tried to cull the crowd. One suspect tried to take the bat from him, but the victim managed to keep the bat and get back to his yard where he saw his girl friend (female victim) being assaulted by a female suspect. The suspect punched her repeatedly in the face. The male victim threw the suspect off his girlfriend and the suspect ran saying “We know where you live. We’ll come back and rob you.” The group dispersed. Officers tried to get a statement from the female victim, but she grew frustrated because officers could not find the suspects. She had to stop the interview because of a panic attack.

On June 26 officers responded to a burglary at a residence located on the 8000 block of 16th Avenue Northwest. The complainant told officers that he left his home earlier that day, and when he returned he found his back door had been kicked in and damaged. The suspect had removed the screen and was able to break through the door. The complainant said that $200 in cash was missing along with a PlayStation. Officers dusted for latent prints but were unable to recover any leads.

On June 23 officers were dispatched to a burglary at residence located on the 9000 block of Ninth Avenue Northwest. The complainant told officers that while he was watching the Portugal V.S. USA world cup game, the suspect opened the door to his home and took a camera bag containing a Cannon 5D camera, lenses, and other photography gear. No evidence was recovered from the scene.
