To the editor:

I am a long time subscriber and regular reader of Westside Seattle.

I am an ardent supporter of all things anti-Trump. I find our current President to be a buffoon, an embarrassment, and worse, a threat to our global safety on so many levels.

That said, I find the political cartoon by P. Riggee published on 7/12 to be offensive and in poor taste. The picture is of two drowned immigrants on our southern border whose tragic story has been in the news recently. Donald Trump is shown driving a golf ball into their lifeless bodies.  NOT FUNNY! This type of humor is just too dark and not kind. It is just wrong.
