A 27 year old Burien man was shot and killed in White Center Friday night. Witnesses said the victim had been involved in a physical fight with suspect prior to the shooting.
Around 10:40 deputies responded to a report of a man shot near SW 96th St and 15 Ave SW. When deputies arrived they found a man on the ground not breathing. Deputies administered CPR until Medics arrived but resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses told police that a group of men were with talking with the victim prior to the shooting. The suspect who was with the group of men fought with the victim. When the fight was over the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim. The men fled the scene on foot.
King County Guardian One and K-9 responded but were unable to locate the suspect or the men he was with. The only description obtained was that the suspect was wearing a red hoodie.
Identity of the victim will be confirmed and released by the King County Medical Examiners Office
