White Center to see new cleanup effort by King County
King County Executive Dow Constantine is set to announce the new King County Conservation Corps, a pilot program that employs people experiencing homeless and poverty to tackle garbage and litter in unincorporated King County.
Executive Constantine will be joined by White Center community leaders and business owners Dec. 3 to launch the new program at 10am.
After brief remarks, participants will join the Corps to clean up a four-block area.
