The Admiral Neighborhood Association has announced that this year's Admiral Block Party will be "bigger than ever," featuring an expanded festival area and two full days of live entertainment. Located in the 2300 block of California Ave SW, the event will see California Ave closed from Admiral Way to College, and College closed from California Ave to 42nd Ave to provide more space for vendors, food, and activities.
The festivities begin on Friday, August 21st, at 3:00 PM, highlighting acoustic talent alongside outdoor eating and drinking opportunities. On Saturday, August 22nd, the streets will be filled from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM with dozens of local vendors, a family/kids area, and a wellness area. Attendees can relax at local bars and restaurants while enjoying a continuous stream of live music from the event’s MainStage.
