January 21, 1917-September 9, 2005

Erven "Erv" was born to Inez Kostenbader and Lloyd Richardson in Ontario, Oregon. He lived in Oregon during his early years, and in high school, during summer vacation, he worked on a cattle ranch outside Burns, Oregon. He met and married Iona Brock in Ontario, and they had one son, Daniel.

Just before WW2, Erv moved his family to Seattle. Erv joined the Army Air Corps and served as a paratrooper in the South Pacific during WW2. He worked at Boeing for 42 years-both before and then after the war.

Born September 19, 1949, lost at sea in an apparent fishing accident August 2005.

Myron was born in Crookston, MN and his family moved to West Seattle in 1957. He attended local schools, graduating from Chief Sealth High School in 1967. He worked locally at Safeway and enjoyed being a ski instructor at Snoqualmie Pass. He always loved salmon fishing in Puget Sound and steelheading in local rivers. Also during this period Myron was instrumental in introducing sisters, Sue and Janell to their future spouses, Roy Willanger and Tom Neklason, we thank you.

Paul Johnston died peacefully September 10, 2005 at age 84 in Seattle of pneumonia and complications from Alzheimer's disease. Born March 30, 1921 in Page County, Iowa to Leo and Florence Johnston, he was known throughout his life as a kind and honest gentleman.

After serving in the Navy during World War II, he earned a doctor of chiropractic degree in 1952 from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and began practicing in California. He moved to Seattle several years later and opened the West Seattle Chiropractic Clinic in 1966, practicing there until his retirement in 1984.

Jack was born on September 11, 1910 to Dell and Cora Christian in Payette, Idaho. After graduating from High School, he joined the Navy and served on the battleship Oklahoma. In 1934 Jack met the love of his life, Bea Dunn, and were married that year. With Bea working, Jack attended and graduated from the University of Idaho and later the University of Missouri at Kansas City with a degree in dentistry. After graduating, Jack began a dental practice in West Seattle and later enlisted in the Air Force and served as a Major in Korea.

Agnes "Skipper" Sendek, formerly of Stamford, Conn. and a Federal Way resident since 1976, passed away Monday, Sept. 5, 2005 at the St. Francis Hospital following a short severe illness. She was a daughter of Michael & Mary Skiba of Stamford, Conn. She is survived by daughters Patricia Aulis James of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Nancy Jean Sendek Swanson of Surprise, Ariz. Also five grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She went to be with the Lord this day, Sept. 5, 2005 at approximately 2 p.m.

WINTERMUTE

Rowena M. Wintermute was born July 4, 1908, in Poulsbo, Wash., and passed away Sept. 6, 2005, at age 97.

She is survived by her sons, William and spouse Susan, and David and spouse Julie, and three grandchildren, Vincent, Matthew, and Margaret. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel A., in 1952.

Rowena was a true inspiration to all that knew her.

A Memorial Service was held Sept. 15, at Lake Burien Presbyterian Church. Memorials are suggested to Highline Hospice, 12844 Military Rd. S., Tukwila Wash. 98168.

STOUGARD

Earl S. Stougard, born June 10, 1919, passed into God's presence on Sept. 9, 2005. His wife Lois, whom he loved dearly, preceded him in death. They were married 64 years until her passing in November 2002.

Earl, a lifelong Seattle-area resident, was born north of Burien and lived in South Park, South Seattle and Kent.

During World War II, he served in the Philippines with the U.S. Army. His military and civilian training served him well as he excelled in mechanical and electrical skills. Earl worked at both Issacson and Jorgensen Steel companies.

Julia Rita Antonioni Rhodes, age 65, died unexpectedly of a heart attack on Tuesday, Sept 6th, 2005. Julie is survived by her son Jeff Rhodes, daughter Michelle Wardian, and 4 sisters: Joanne Polzen, Mary Ann Wondra, Lucy Kohli, and Cathy Osborne. Julie also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Ava Wardian, Noelle Wardian, and Thomas Rhodes. Her special canine companion (Domino) was adopted by Julie's son.

Julie was born in Mayville, Wisconsin to John and Angelina Antonioni who immigrated from Cis, Italy.

Passed away September 5th. Survived by wife Joyce, son Steven, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren.

Zoe Anne Lemley, 52, passed away in Bonners Ferry, Idaho on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2005. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 29, in Coffelt's Moon Chapel.

Zoe was born in Fresno, Calif. on Nov. 29, 1952 and move to Federal Way, Wash. in 1954 with her family. She worked as a sales clerk for J K Gill Office Supply for 13 years. In 2001 she moved to Sandpoint, Idaho later moving to Naples, Idaho.

She enjoyed camping and cooking for her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by four children, Chelsea E.
