The annual landing of the Seafair Pirates is set for Saturday at around 1pm near the Alki Bathhouse on Alki Beach.

Revered by some as the official start to summer, the annual Pirates Landing returns yet again as the Seafair Pirates sail in from the seven seas to storm Alki Beach in West Seattle. Exhibit booths and food vendors will be present, along with kids’ rides and a pirate look-a-like contest.

Before the landing you are likely to hear loud booms from the cannon aboard the landing craft they are sailing on, and have to deal with big crowds which always gather for this event. Special guests and dignitaries are almost certain to be on hand as well.
