District 1 Seattle City Councilmember Rob Saka shared a report on his first 100 days in office with his constituents via his weekly newsletter on April 19.

The West Seattle Junciton Spring Wine Walk is coming up on May 17th from 5-9PM 

30 wineries are participating this Spring, the most ever for this event. 

The 2024 Morgan Junction Festival is set for Saturday, June 15, 2024 10am-2pm at Morgan Junction Park on California Ave SW

The current plan by Sound Transit to extend light rail into West Seattle would remove many homes and businesses on it's path.

Whisky West in the Morgan Junction and Tito's Vodka are hosting a fundraiser  Bulldog Haven NW on April 20 starting at 12 Noon. 

The Skylark Cafe and Matt Larson are not waiting around to hear their fate.

The West Seattle Senior Center is going through a renaming and rebranding this year. In mid-May, the nonprofit will announce to the community its new name. 

The family of Mobarak Adam, the 15-year-old who was shot and killed at Southwest Community Center in West Seattle back in January, is still desperate for answers.
