The Seafair Pirates came ashore again in the annual "unofficial" inaugural event for Sefair itself as the quintessential Seattle summer celebration.

In business in the West Seattle Junction for 72 years, Junction Hardware was part of the True Value family of stores until last year when True Value Hardware was sold to Do it Best Corp. in a deal finalized on November 22, 2024.
