The shooting death of Mobarak Adam, a 15 year old Chief Sealth student, at the SW Athletic Complex on January 23 prompted an outpouring of support for his family and brought hundreds to a protest at the school January 29.

A gun violence protest is set to happen at 12 Noon outside Chief Sealth International High School on Monday.

Skylark Cafe and Club owner Matt Larson shared an open letter to the community this week, asking for support as he and other businesses nearby wait for the Environmental Impact Statement

UPDATE 4:28pm

According to Seattle Police a 14 year old male was found in the restroom at the Southwest Athletic Complex 2800 Southwest Thistle Street. He had been shot.

A 40 year old man in a stolen vehicle tried ramming his way past a King County Sheriff's SUV in the Safeway parking lot at 9620 28th SW near White Center on Tuesday.

Big mistake.

Jim Price, 86, who went missing on Monday Sept. 18 has been confirmed as deceased in a note shared with family and supporters.
