King County 911 system back and operating
Authorities say 911 services are back up in the Seattle area after the CenturyLink outage caused disruptions that began Thursday.
King County said Friday morning that progress had been made in restoring 911 services across the metro area but intermittent outages were still possible.

The widespread 9-1-1 outage caused by a malfunction at CenturyLink continues to affect King County. 9-1-1 call centers are having difficulty receiving phone calls, both from landlines and cell phones. At this time, there is no estimate on when full 9-1-1 service will be restored in our region.
Anyone having an emergency in King County should call the ten-digit number for their local emergency responders. Cell phone users in King County can also use Text-to-911. As a reminder, do not call or text unless you are experiencing an emergency.
