The Burien Independence Day Parade (4th of July Parade) wiil roll down the streets of the community July 4, 2023. It is set to start promptly at 3 PM and run for approximately two hours.

Fireworks, food, family fun including live music and more are all open to the public at Angle Lake Park in SeaTac for the Fourth of July. Here are the particulars.

The Highland Park Action Committee shared information regarding the growing presence of unhoused people in the greenbelt across from Camp Second Chance on Myers Way SW.

During the Thursday night  Burien City Council special meeting City Planning Commissioner Charles Schaefer was removed from the job. That prompted a series of  five planning commssioner resignations in protest on Friday.

Thieves using a pick up truck smashed into the Shorewood Market Center neighborhood grocery store at 26th SW and SW 106h SW around 1:30pm Monday morning.

The official groundbreaking for the complete reconstruction of Evergreen High School saw a very strong turnout of neighbors, construction company workers, Highline Public School officials, alumnae and the public on Friday May 19.
