UPDATE: Robbery attempt at Don Armeni leads to shots fired, chase and arrests
The truck at upper right and the driver was the victim of a possible attempted car jacking on Sunday evening. The truck has out of state plates.

At 6:40pm, a male victim was in his parked car at the Don Armeni boat launch when several suspects approached, one was armed with a handgun.
The suspects demanded the victim’s wallet and phone. During this robbery one shot was fired from the suspect’s gun.
The victim gave up his phone and wallet. The suspects ran to a waiting car, another shot was fired.
The suspects then left in a black sedan. The victim was not injured during this robbery. Responding officers located the suspect vehicle leaving the area.
A short pursuit ensued. The suspect vehicle crashed, and all the suspects were taken into custody. The suspects were taken to SPD Headquarters where they were interviewed by detectives and then booked into KCJ.

A possible attempted car jacking of a truck at Don Armeni boat launch in West Seattle at around 6:35 on Sunday led to shots fired, a chase, one person wounded and at least one arrest. The wounded man was described as in his 20's. Scanner traffic also said s female suspect was detained.
According to a witness who asked not to be identified, "A newer black car came in through the south entrance of the boat launch parking lot at high speed and swerved, then parked. He was interacting with people on the sidewalk, He then kicked a street sign, got back in his car, backed up over the curb and the parking strip. The driver and two others got out of the car and walked to the east side of the lot, approaching a black pick up truck. The driver started talking to the driver of the truck, A struggle began and one of the suspects attempted to get into the club cab of the truck. A shot was fired and the suspects ran, then another shot was fired. The black car then drove out and headed north on Harbor Ave.SW"
Scanner traffic said the car was spotted on Delridge Way, and one person was wounded.
The chase apparently ended with the suspect vehicle leaving the road near Delridge Way and Geneee Street SW.
