Seattle police officers arrested a 17-year-old boy for armed robbery in West Seattle Saturday afternoon.

A young Harbor Seal, in some distress, was rescued by the Seal Sitters and volunteers from the NOAA Marine Mammal Stranding Network on Sunday at the Don Armeni boat launch

An early morning motor vehicle incident at 48th Ave SW and Juneau Street SW. involved a driver in a late model Audi traveling southbound on 48th that ran into a parked black truck which was pushed into a white car parked in front of it. 

Several hundred people took to the streets of the West Seattle Junction on October 18 to join the NO KINGS protests that were part of a nationwide political protest against the policies of the Trump Administration.

Residents of West Seattle are preparing for a major political demonstration this Saturday as the national “No Kings” protest movement schedules a rally in the West Seattle Junction, running from 11 am to 2 pm on October 18.

Easy Street Records in the West Seattle Junction is hosting northwest based music superstar Brandi Carlile Oct 24 for an in-store performance  to celebrate the release of her new album Returning to Myself .
