On Monday, Dec. 17, the City Council approved legislation reducing the size of commercial and retail uses that can be constructed in areas zoned industrial.

The fact so many people are mystified as to how the Alaskan Way Viaduct Stakeholder Advisory Committee was formed worries us.

Besides the noise of the political races for president, governor, Congress and the Legislature, we hope some things happen during 2008 in the more limited world inhabited by you and by us.
