The Taste of Burien is the largest event of its kind in the Burien area. In a change from past years Discover Burien is returning the event back to the restaurants on May 22.

A Maui Strong fundraising event is set for Oct. 14 at the Burien Elks #2143 to provide aid for the victims of the Lahaina fire disaster.

The event will run from 5:00-11:00PM

50 custom made glass floats will be hidden on August 5th, with 50 more the morning of Saturday, August 12 in the West Seattle Float Hunt for 2023.

Homelessness in Seattle is nothing new and the often visible encampments and RV's on roadsides get a lot of public attention largely because so many of them are out in the open.

Tim's Tavern is taking over the former Drunky Two Shoes BBQ location at the corner of 98th SW and 16th SW and that means a remodel of sorts is in order.

The first White Center SantaCon is set for Dec.10 and the neighborhood is hosting a variety of FREE family activities at participating businesses from 2PM - 5PM.
