Margaret's family and friends celebrate the life of this kind, spirit-filled, gracious woman. Born on December 17, 1911, Margaret lived all of her life in Seattle (Mt. Baker and Alki neighborhoods) - and Kirkland/Juanita - until her peaceful passing on February 6, 2006 at the age of 94. She felt blessed to live in such a beautiful area. An only child, Margaret graduated from Kirkland High in 1929 and attended the UW for one year. She was intelligent, loved to laugh, and had a dry sense of wit and humor.

Burman Frederick Schultz passed away peacefully on Feb. 3, 2006, in his home, Providence Mt. St. Vincent, in West Seattle. He was 78 years old.

Burman was born in Osborne, Kan., on April 11, 1927. After serving in the Navy in World War II, he graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree from Denver University. He married Carol Schmidt in 1949 and began his aerospace career in White Sands, N.M. In 1950, Burman began his 38-year career at Boeing, retiring in 1988. He was a member and Commander of the Poverty Bay Power Squadron, where he realized his passion for boating.

Robert Medeen Ellington, 77, died on January 26, 2006, in Burien. A lifelong resident of the Des Moines area, he was born on June 9, 1928, in Seattle.

An Army veteran of the Korean War, Bob went on to work as a graphic designer for The Boeing Company, retiring after more than 30 years of service.

Margaret Virginia Glover of Redmond, Oregon, died Feb. 1, 2006, at a local care facility. She was 91. A memorial service will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery,

Saturday, Feb. 11 at 11 a.m.

She was born in Hutchinson, Kansas, on May 11, 1914, to Howard and Cora (Millspaugh) Wilson.

Mrs. Glover spent her early childhood in Kansas before the family moved to West Seattle when she was a teenager.

Erma Goodwin was born in Spokane, Washington on February 28, 1917 to Adolph and Sophia Gerber. She had one brother, Claude, who preceded her in death.

Meredith Ann Coffin was born on June 18, 1943. Beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend to so many in the Seattle area passed away Thursday morning at Swedish Hospital after a courageous 10 year battle with breast cancer. Meredith touched the lives of so many around her with her vivacious spirit and caring nature. A native of West Seattle she attended Lafayette Elementary, James Madison Junior High, and West Seattle High School. She has been employed by Sea Land since 1964.

Catherine E. Burton, beloved wife of Glen S. Burton went to join our Lord on February 2, 2006. Catherine was born in 1921 in St. Paul, Minnesota where she grew up with three sisters and four brothers. Catherine moved to the Seattle area after WWII where she married Glen in 1954 and gave birth to her only son, Michael in 1957. Catherine was a long time resident of West Seattle and attended Holy Rosary Church. Catherine loved to fish and travel throughout the northwest with Glen and Michael. She will always be remembered for her support, love and inspiration she brought to everyone around her.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Dorothy Bassett was held Feb. 6, 2006, at Bonney-Watson Parker Chapel in Burien.

Mrs. Bassett died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006, in Vancouver, Wash. She would have been 81 years old last Wednesday.

She was born Feb. 1, 1925, in Chicago, and lived in Burien since 1946. She attended the University of Illinois. She worked as a dental assistant, and then later assisted her husband in his bookkeeping business. She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker.

Mrs. Bassett loved sewing, crafts, and reading.

On January 30, Richard “Dick” McColley went to be with the Lord. At 90 years old, he had lived a full and satisfying life. Monday morning he was listening to his daughter play hymns, took a nap on his favorite couch, and peacefully drifted off to Heaven.

Dick was born in Puyallup to Robert and Clare McColley. Later in life, he started corresponding with an attractive lady in Japan.

Myron Frederick Wildish

Janet was born June 27, 1912, and enjoyed a happy childhood in Terre Haute,Indiana, under the loving care of her parents Anna Grace and William C. Swearingen.

Fred was born August 28, 1917, to Frederick and Gertrude Wildish in Downer’s Grove, Illinois.

They met in 1940 at Columbian Enameling in Indiana, where Fred was a young engineer and Janet worked as an executive secretary. They were separated in 1941 when Fred enlisted in the Army and was stationed in the Philippines.
