Robert Constant Miller, born July19, 1925 in Yakima, Washington, son to Herman and Elizabeth Miller, Founders of Husky Ice Cream & Delicatessen in West Seattle, which opened in 1933 and is still owned by the Miller Family. Bob was the fourth of four children. World War II Merchant Marine Veteran, Korean War Army Veteran, Husband to Sheila Cameron-Miller, Father of eight children: Kathleen, Roberta, Hugh, Sheila, Jacqueline, Paul, Jeanette and Matthew, grandfather of nine.

Robert Wesley Gibson, 90, passed away in Burien on March 23, 2007. During the last 10 months of his life, he courageously endured without complaint the debilitating effects of a stroke. He was born on May 30, 1916 in Roberts, Idaho, the seventh of eight children of Wesley and Jane Gibson. His father was a businessman and farmer and served three terms in the Idaho state senate. His mother was a school teacher. Bob graduated from Roberts High School in 1932 at age sixteen.

Joyce Crow, 62, passed away on March 15, 2007. Born in Melrose Park, Illinois on September 16, 1944, she moved out to the Seattle area in 1946, attended Ballard High School and graduated from Shoreline High in 1962. She worked at the Kenmore IGA and various Safeways as a meat wrapper for 24 years.

Marilyn "Mary" Saunders, born February 23, 1934, in Seattle, Washington, passed away peacefully March 16, 2007 at her home in Shorewood. Mary is survived by her son, Charles Saunders and his wife Linda and her daughter Donna Simpson and her husband Tom.

Mary grew up in the Burien/White Center area, where she graduated from Highline High School in 1947.

Died of lung cancer complications at Seattle's Swedish Hospital on Friday, March 16, 2007. Bob's 50-plus years in the maritime industry began in dredging and included vessel conversions, boat building, fish processing, and marine electronics. Bob is survived by wife Jean Elizabeth Morton; daughter Laurie and partner Marcia Cutler; daughter Kelley and husband Steve Hutchison; son Leighton; four grandchildren Jon Bye, Mindy Bye, Heidi Hutchison, and Katie Hutchison; three brothers, three sisters, business partner Bruce Reagan III and close friend Steve Seley.

Bernice (Neecy) was born to Arthur and Ragna Harman in Seattle in 1925. She was an alumni of West Seattle High and Seattle College. She married James F. McGarry in 1946 with whom she raised four children: Arthur (Dan) of Seattle; Steven of Takoma Park, Md.; and Catherine and Marie of San Carlos, Calif.

Bernice started her career in the hospitality business as secretary to Edward Carlson at Western Hotels.

Age 58, born Christmas Day 1948 passed away February 17, 2007. Marv grew up in Seattle and raised his family in Edmonds. Marv enjoyed sharing the sites of Seattle with locals and visitors during his 25 yr career as CEO/Operator of the taxi/limo company Seattle Airporter. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Sue; daughters Jamie Frodsham of Issaquah and Shelley (Shane) Marr of West Seattle; mother Consuelo Frodsham, M.D.

Age 97 passed peacefully on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 in Everett. She was a lifetime member in the Washington State Pioneer Association. She retired from the Seattle Post-Intelligencer as a switchboard operator. Gladys is survived by her daughters, Margie Bates, Joan Coburn and Kathleen (John) Leggett; son, David (Lillian) Fauver; 18 grandchildren; 22+ great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Solon in 1994. Committal services were held on Friday, March 23, 2007 at Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd., SeaTac.

Jack D. Giorgetti of West Seattle passed away in the early morning hours of March 16, 2007 with his loving family by his side. Jack fought a courageous battle of lung cancer. He knew about his illness in the summer of 2006 but instead of treatment, he sacrificed his life to care for his loving wife, Jeannette of 63 years who preceded him in death on Dec 9, 2006. His wish was to live long enough to take care of his wife.

Jack was born in Seattle on November 23, 1923 to Emilia and Secondo Giorgetti. He graduated from West Seattle High School in 1941.
