Douglas John REASY 1953-2014

West Seattle resident, Douglas Reasy, 64, died Wednesday, November 12, 2014, surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Doug was born February 6, 1950 to Charles and Lorraine Reasy of Lemmon, South Dakota. In 1953 the family moved from Lemmon to West Seattle, Washington, where Doug attended school from Kindergarten through graduation from West Seattle High School in 1968. He then enlisted in the Navy. Upon discharge he returned to Twisp, WA, where he loved spending time on the family ranch.

In 1975 he relocated to West Seattle, where he became a solid member of the community and proud owner of Southwest Saw and Mower. Doug devoted much of his time to building an unbreakable reputation for quality, craftsmanship and customer service - a reputation that soon grew strong and spanned across much of Western Washington for over 45 years and will be carried on by his family.

Doug was a loving husband, devoted father and dear friend to many who will miss his wonderful smile.

Preceded in death by his father, Charles F. Reasy Sr., Doug is survived by his wife, Audrey; daughter, Jessica; son, Michael; step-son, David; mother, Lorraine; siblings, Dan, Piper and Chuck Reasy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Please join the family in sharing memories of Doug at his celebration of life Saturday, January 10, 2015, Noon-3 p.m., at the White Center Eagles, 10452 15th Ave. SW, Seattle. Guestbook: http://www.cadycremationservices.com
