Elizabeth Jane (Erickson) STASNY 1921~ 2015

A West Seattle, WA resident since 1941, Elizabeth “Betty” Stasny, daughter of Verona B. (Atkinson) and Edward W. Erickson, came into this world Friday, October 13, 1920 in Portland Oregon and left Friday, June 26, 2015.
A registered nurse, she worked in that field in the 1950s and 1960s.

Betty was artistic to the end; a painter in water color and oil, Native Indian carver and painter, poetess with many publications, Sumi and other oriental art work, and loved to draw flowers with Gel Pens.
She volunteered with many groups and also taught her love of art.

She lived a full life of 94+ years and will be greatly missed.

Predeceased by her husband, Frank (1996) and a son, Betty is survived by two sons; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial will be held Monday, July 13th, 3:30 p.m., at The Kenney, 7125 Fauntleroy Way SW, West Seattle. Ashes put to rest in Goldendale, WA with four other generations.
