Thomas John QUALLS 1951~2015

May 23, 1951 ~ June 14, 2015
Tom passed due to cardiac problems in Seattle, WA. A West Seattle boy all his life, he loved the area though hated the changes he saw happening around him.

He worked 20 plus years as a Metro bus driver. After retiring, Tom helped out his mother and sister and built his very own pea patch at 49th SW/SW Admiral Way, across from his Mom’s house.

Tom’s home acted as a safe gathering place for his children’s friends, for hanging out and a place to seek advice - which was never in short supply. A wonderful cook, Tom loved feeding people. His cookies, commonly called "Tommy bucks," were delicious and often used in trade for help fixing up the house.

Predeceased by his mother, Leolla “Pat” Qualls, Tom is survived by his wife, Sue Qualls; children, Lucas and Lacey Qualls; sister, Nancy Qualls; and those who also loved him. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, July 26th at Camp Long Lodge.
