Jeanne R. Wilkerson died Nov. 4, 2006, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.

She was born July 6, 1920, in St. Mary's, Idaho, to Fredrick and Ruth Rethemeyer. Jeanne married H. Paul Wilkerson, a heavy equipment engineer, in 1943. After his return from World War II, the couple made their home in Seattle, where they raised three daughters.

Mrs. Wilkerson was a homemaker who filled her days with PTA, sewing clothes for her daughters, and charitable and community work.

Dick Sever, beloved husband, friend, father, and grandfather passed away on October 29, 2006 at Providence Hospital from complications of heart disease.

Dick was born on July 1, 1925 in LaCarosse, Washington to Harry and Clara Sever. His family, on his mother's side, settled in Washington Territory in 1859. His father's family were also pioneers in the Palouse area before Washington became a state.

He lived in Pullman and Colfax as a child, graduating from Pullman High School in 1943.

July 23, 1943 - October 16, 2006

Darlene passed away at age 63 after a brave battle with cancer. She was a long time resident of West Seattle until retiring to Elma about five years ago with her special friend, Bob Freeman. Darlene retired as a school bus driver after 17 years of service with Laid Law. She was a great fundraiser for the community and raised lots of donations for various charities.

Myrna Helen Pinkerton, born March 19, 1936, went home to be with the Lord on October 29, 2006. Surrounded by friends and family.

Born in Grimsby, England, Myrna came to the U.S. when her mother, Constance Smith, married Walter Shumway, a U.S. WWII soldier. Raised in McMinnville Oregon on her father's farm, she met Allen Pinkerton while attending church in Portland and married him in 1960. Together they raised three boys; Walter, James and Matthew.

Myrna was a nurse for over 40 years. She enjoyed a quirky sense of humor that she passed onto her sons.

Ira was born December 18, 1916 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He died peacefully at home October 31, 2006. He was the son of Ira and Myrtle (Heacock) Johns and attended Kearny State Teachers College, Kearny, Nebraska. Ira moved to Seattle in 1939 where he met and married his wife of 63 years Helen (James) in 1943. Ira worked for the Boeing Company for 38 years, from which he retired as an outside quality control supervisor in 1979. Ira was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, the Seattle Milk Fund, West Seattle Promenaders and Boeing Retirees.

March 19, 1910 - October 8, 2006

Our beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully October 8, 2006. Evelyn was born March 19, 1910 in Deer Lodge, Montana. In 1937 she and her husband Joe made West Seattle their homestead, they owned Artic Ice Cream Store at the West Seattle junction and in 1948 built Arctic Ice Cream Novelties on Rainier Avenue. Evelyn spent 69 years in the West Seattle Area making many friends and acquaintances. She is preceded in death by an infant daughter and her beloved husband, Joe S. Jacobson who passed away in 1987.

August 11, 1926 - October 28, 2006

Born Helen Jewell in Everly, Iowa. Beloved mother to all the children in her life, she will be missed by everyone who knew her. All of our lives have been enriched by her inner beauty and her wisdon. Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John M.

Age 19

Our beloved daughter, sister and friend left us too soon due to a tragic car accident on October 16. Lindsey was born on August 10, 1987 and attended Hope Lutheran grade school, Madison Middle School, West Seattle High School and South Seattle Middle

College. She loved her family, friends and her dog Bagel. She is survived by her parents, Bob and Lisa, brother Blake (Danielle Yanda), grandmother Pat Yerg

and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Louise M. Uhlman died in a fatal car accident the morning of October 28, 2006.

Born June 22, 1942, in North Dakota, Louise loved the Pacific Northwest, where she lived for 44 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James M. Uhlman, who passed in April, 1991.

Louise was an avid supporter of the Pacific Northwest Ballet, the Seattle Opera House and the TAG Theater.
