Proceeds from the second annual Burien Pride festival went towards building a scholarship fund.
Tasha Wood, director of sales at ACME, came up with the idea for the event.
“I always wanted to do a LGBQT-friendly event,” she said. “And I’ve had lots of ideas over the years.”
