Dennis N. Witheril, 79, passed away at his home in Enumclaw, WA on June 13, 2022.
Denny was born to Alfred Frederick and Evelyn Mae (O’Neil) Witheril in Grand Forks, ND. He married his “Bride,” Karen Kae Spicer in 1963 and their family was complete with the birth of their children Dennis Neil Jr. (Pete) and Victoria Kae.
Kevin Dean Kerstetter, aka “Papa,” age 63, passed away peacefully at his home in Wenatchee, WA with loved ones on the evening of Friday, June 24, 2022, at 08:56 PM after a courageous 3.5-year battle with Metastatic Prostate Cancer.
Jeffery Scott Richter was born on November 29, 1966 in Seattle, WA to Marvin and Linda Richter. He died at the age of 55 on Saturday, June 4, 2022 in Boise, Idaho. Jeff attended school at Highland Park Elementary and Denny Jr. High. His first three years of high school were spent at Seattle Christian. His senior year of high school was spent at Seattle Lutheran. As a youth, he attended the now Community of Christ Church and enjoyed youth and family camps. Jeff spent 30 years as a Metro Transit employee driving thousands of miles delivering commuters to their destinations.

Miriam Jackson Curran passed away peacefully January 14, 2022, three weeks after celebrating her 100th birthday. Born in Westchester County, New York, she lived as a child on a sprawling nursery owned and managed by her father. She was a mischievous child with an insatiable curiosity and the instigator of many amusing schemes. As a teenager, she turned her creative talents to art and theater. She majored in Art at Skidmore College, graduating in 1943.
Longtime Renton resident, (60 years) Elouise Margarette (Carle) Nix died Tuesday, March 15, 2022, in Renton, WA. She was 96 years old. Elouise was born July 4, 1925, in West Seattle to Vera and Domenick Carle. She was descended from the Andresen (granddaughter of) and Sutter pioneer families of Bainbridge Island.
Elouise attended Jefferson Grade School, James Madison Middle School, and West Seattle High School. She grew up in the family businesses, Carle’s Furs and Pacific Dye Works.
Few people have touched as many lives in West Seattle as Allen J. Watts. “Al” to his friends. “Doc Watts” to his generations of dental patients. Born in 1923 in rural Minnesota, he grew up without electricity or running water, and was instilled with a work ethic that he carried throughout his 98 years.
Jeff W. McLellan of West Seattle passed away in his home on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at the age of 68. Jeff was born on April 9, 1953, in Seattle, Washington to parents Bruce and Kay McLellan. He is survived by his two sons and daughter, Kelly McLellan, Taylor McLellan and Dayna McLellan and his siblings, Brian McLellan, and Gayle Liebowitz. Jeff grew up in West Seattle and graduated from West Seattle High School, where he played football. Jeff was a lover of all sports, especially football, NASCAR, and hydroplane racing.
