Alison Maclean Power 1932 ~ 2017

Alison Power, a longtime resident of West Seattle, died Thursday, the 24th of August, 2017 at the home of her daughter Phyllis Cantil of Auburn, WA.

Alison was born in 1932 in Vancouver, B.C., to her mother Mary and father Allison Jagoe.  Alison received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington.

She was employed by Frederick and Nelson in Seattle as a copywriter where she met James Power. They were wed August 18, 1956.

Robert R. (Bob) Wray, Sr. Sept. 8, 1928 – Aug. 21, 2017

Bob passed away on Monday evening, August 21st surrounded by his family at the age of 88. 

He was born on September 8, 1928 to Dorothy and Raymond Wray and grew up in the Seattle/Georgetown area attending local schools.  He served his country in both the Army and the Merchant Marines and from there became a jeweler by trade and loved this business until the end of his life. 

Vivian Maxine Rehkopf

Vivian Maxine Rehkopf, age 96, of Seattle, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2017.

Born August 4, 1920 to Henry and Sallie Morgan in Seattle, Washington. Vivian grew up on Queen Anne hill, graduating from Queen Anne High School in 1938. Married in 1941, she and her husband moved to West Seattle in 1948 where they lived in the house he built. Since late 2012 she has resided on Queen Anne hill.

Ronald William Larsen May 29, 1948 – March 26, 2017

Ron sailed over the horizon to his Lord after a short, courageous battle with cancer. 

Born in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, he lived in the Seattle area most of his life, retiring from Global Diving and Salvage in 2016. His positive, helpful, friendly manner won him many friends and we will all miss him greatly.  Ron was a multi-talented man--mechanic, race car enthusiast, pilot, captain, boxer, square-dancer, and a fixer-of-anything broken.
